  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, 20 percent fat
  • 6 –8 ounces Roquefort, crumbled
  • 1 small onion, 1/4-inch dice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • Sea salt
  • Pepper
  • Avocado (for serving)
  • Bacon (for serving)

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, form two large patties, and let rest in fridge until ready to cook. Let come to room temperature before grilling. Cook to your favorite doneness. Serve with Chili Onion Rings (recipe follows).
