Ingredients

  • Dough

  • 2

    c milk

  • 1/2

    c canola oil

  • 1/2

    c sugar

  • 1

    pkg yeast

  • 4

    c flour

  • 1/2

    heaping tsp baking powder

  • 1/2

    scant tsp baking soda

  • 1

    tsp salt

  • 1/2

    c four

  • Filling

  • 2

    sticks melted butter

  • 1/4

    c cinnamon

  • 1

    cup sugar

  • Maple Icing

  • 1

    lb powdered sugar

  • 1/4

    c milk

  • 3

    TBSP butter melted

  • 1/8

    c coffee

  • dash salt

  • 1

    tsp maple extract

Directions

Combine milk, oil and sugar in a small saucepan. Heat over low heat until blended, do not boil. Remove from heat and let cool to lukewarm. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for 1 minute. Add to 4 C of flour and stir until combined. Cover and let rise for 1 hour in warm location. Remove cover and add baking powder, baking soda, salt and remaining flour. Stir thoroughly until combined. Roll out dough into a large rectangle 30"x10" Filling Pour 1 cup of melted butter over dough and spread to edges. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Roll beginning at end furthest from you. Pinch seam together and slice into 1 1/2" slices. Pour melted butter into pie pan and coat. place 7 rolls in each pie pan and bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes. Glaze Whisk together powdered sugar, butter, milk, coffee and salt. Whisk until smooth and pour over baked rolls.
