Pumpkin Pie Moonshine

  • 3 lbs Canned Pumpkin
  • 2 lbs White Sugar
  • 1 lb Dark Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Ground Ginger
  • 1 tbsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 20 Whole Cloves
  • 5 All Spice
  • 2 gallon Water
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla
  • 2 qts 190 proof Moonshine



Step 1

Heat water and sugar till all sugar is dissolved, add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Then simmer for 1 hour. Let cool somewhat. Here’s the hard part -the straining. Strain mixture till your liquid is clear. This takes quite some time. After strained I bring back to a boil and let cool to room temp. then I add 1 TBS vanilla and 2 qts of 190 proof moonshine.
