Ingredients
- Sauce:
- Chicken pieces
- 1 lg onion, diced
- 1/4 c lemon juice
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 2 tsp dry mustard
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 c ketchup
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 c celery, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, put on a toothpick so it can later be revoved
Preparation
Step 1
Brown chicken pieces and diced onion under broiler or in skillet.
Drain fat and place chicken and onion in roasting pan.
Combine sauce ingredients and pour over chicken.
Roast, covered, in 325 degrees oven for 1-1/4 hours or till done.
Remove chicken to platter and serve sauce as gravy.
