Slow Cooker Three-Bean Beer Pot

Ingredients

  • 8 slices uncooked bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup chopped onion (about 1 large)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite)
  • 3/4 cup regular or nonalcoholic dark beer
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) Progresso black beans, drained, rinsed
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) pinto beans, drained
  • 1 can (19 oz) Progresso cannellini beans, drained

Preparation

Step 1

In 10-inch skillet, cook bacon and onion over medium heat 7 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until bacon is crisp; drain. Spray a 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In cooker, place bacon mixture and remaining ingredients; mix well. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 4 to 6 hours.
