Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped green bell pepper
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped carrots
- 1 c. frozen green peas
- 2 c. stewed/canned tomatoes
- 8 c. water
- 1/4 c. barley
- 3 beef bouillon cubes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Brown beef in soup pot or Dutch oven. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer over low heat 2 hours. Adjust seasoning, as needed, before serving.
