Coconut Cream Pound Cake

  • 1 C butter, softened
  • 1 pkg (8oz) cream cheese softened
  • 3 C sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp coconut extract
  • 3 C flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 C flaked coconut



Step 1

Preheat oven to 325. Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan.

In large bowl, cream together cream cheese and butter until well blended. Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Blend in eggs, one at a time, then stir in coconut extract. Spoon batter into pan.

Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes until knife comes out clean.
