Molded Mints

Mom made these for my wedding and many other of that type of occasions

Ingredients

  • Basic:
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon flavoring oil (not extract)
  • desired coloring
  • 2 pounds powdered sugar
  • Peanut Butter:
  • 6 heaping tablespoons peanut butter instead of oil
  • Butter:
  • 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 sticks butter instead of cream cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cream cheese, flavoring and coloring.

Add powdered sugar, 1/2 cup at a time using beater. When too stiff for beater, add the rest by hand.

Dust candy mold with sugar and press 1 teaspoon into mold.
