Ingredients

  • 4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 pkg four cheese macaroni and cheese dinner
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 medium red pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup bacon bits
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Heat 1 tbsp oil in large skillet on medium -high heat. Add chicken, cover. Cook 4 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet, cover to keep warm.

Add 1 1/2 cups water, macaroni and milk to skillet. Bring to boil, cover. Reduce heat to medium-low, simmer 8 minutes. Stir in cheese sauce, red pepper and bacon bits. Add chicken, top with mozzarella cheese.

Cover and continue to simmer 5 minutes or until macaroni is tender and mozzarella cheese is melted.
