Baked Bacon Strip Appetizers

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c packed light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp chile powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Aleppo flakes
  • 1 package of your favorite bacon (smoke applewood bacon is great!)

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a couple of rimmed baking sheets with foil. In a small bowl, whisk the sugar and chile powder. Arrange the bacon strips on the foil and sprinkle the sugar and chile powder mixture on top. Sprinkle aleppo flakes on top.
Bake for 20 to 25 mins un6il carmelized and just about crisp. Transfer bacon to a cooling rack over foil. Serve. Store at room temp.
