Ingredients

  • 8 cups popped 94% fat-free butter-flavor microwave popcorn (from 3-oz bag) (2 Cups)
  • 5 cups Cheerios® cereal or Honey Nut Cheerios® cereal (1 1/4 Cups)
  • 1 cup honey-roasted peanuts (1/4 Cup)
  • 1 cup raisins (1/4 cup)
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup (2 Tbsp)
  • 1/3 cup honey (1 Tbsp+2 1/4 tsp)
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or butter (1 1/2 tsp)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (1/16 tsp)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla (1/8 tsp)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 350°F. Remove and discard unpopped kernels from popped popcorn. In large bowl, mix popcorn, cereal, peanuts and raisins; set aside.

2. In 1-quart saucepan, heat corn syrup, honey, margarine and cinnamon to boiling. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour over cereal mixture; toss until evenly coated. Spread in ungreased 15x10x1-inch pan.

3. Bake 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool pan on cooling rack, stirring occasionally. Store loosely covered.
