PRIME RIB ROAST

Got this recipe from Canadian Living December 2013 and it cooks prime rib perfectly and easily !!

Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp Dijon mustard

Preparation

Step 1

Combine ingredients and coat roast

Place meat at room temperature on grate in pan bone side down. Bake at 500 for 11 minutes per pound and then turn off oven. Leave roast in oven for 2 hours. DO NOT OPEN DOOR. Carve immediately when removed from oven
