Ingredients

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 garlic bud (chopped)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream style corn
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup bacon drippings
  • 2 large jalapeno peppers, chopped

Step 1


Preheat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients together and pour into hot greased skillet. Bake about 45 minutes (or less for shallow pan) at 350.
