Ingredients
- 3 cups chicken cut up
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 6 T butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 T lemon juice
- 2 T soy sauce
- dash of ground ginger
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine 1/3 cup flour and 1 tsp garlic salt and coat chicken.
Melt 2 T butter in a shallow baking dish just large enough to hold chicken in a single layer. Arrange chicken skin-side down in melted butter. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt 4 T butter and honey, lemon juice, soy sauce and ground ginger. After baking 30 minutes, take out chicken, turn over and pour butter mixture over. Baste occasionally with soy sauce another 30-40 minutes until chicken is tender and richly browned.
