Ingredients
- BROWNIE
- 1 c. (two sticks) unsalted butter
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
- 1 c. flour or flour substitute (if making gluten free version)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 T. vanilla
- 1/2 bag mini marshmallows
- ICING
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
- 2 T. unsalted butter
- 1 T. boiing water
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven 335 - 350
Combine 2 sticks of butter, brown sugar and 1/4 c. cocoa in saucepan over medium heat until butter is completely melted & ingredients are thoroughly combined. Remove from heat.
Add flour/flour substitute, eggs and vanilla. Mix thoroughly then spread in greased 8x8 pan. Bake 40 minutes.
While brownies are baking make the icing. Combine icing ingredients using a mixer until desired consistency is reached.
After brownies have baked for 40 minutes, remove pan from oven and immediately spread mini marshmallows on top & return to oven until marshmallows puff up (about 2 minutes).
Remove from oven and immediately spread icing on top.
