Ingredients
- 3 lb chicken, cut in large pieces
- 1/2 . c. soy sauce
- 2 c. sherry
- 2 Tbs sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp MSG
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 2 cloves garlic,crushed
- 1 thin slice ginger, finely chopped
- 2 Tbs oil for frying
Preparation
Step 1
Heat skillet on moderate heat (300 degrees). Add oil & heat thoroughly. Brown chicken on all sides, drain off excess oil. Add sauce, bring to boil.Boil for 25 min. in covered pan. Reduce heat & simmer for 15 min.
