Frans Surprise Pie

Makes 2 pies, halve for 1

Ingredients

• 1/2 c butter
• 1 c dark karo syrup
• 1 c sugar
• 3 eggs, beaten
• 1 T vanilla
• 2.5 c pecans, chopped
• 1 c choc chips
• 1/4 c bourbon

Preparation

Step 1

cream butter, sugar & syrup.
Add beaten eggs & vanilla
mix well
Add bourbon and mix well.
Blend nuts & choc chips
pour into 2 deep dish pie shells
bake for 350 for 45 minutes
