Cream Cheese Frosting II

A variation of the traditional frosting.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
  • 3 T. unsalted butter
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 3/4 t. vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the flat beater, beat together all ingredients on medium-high speed until smoother and creamy---2 to 3 minutes.
Spread on quick bread or muffins before serving or pass alongside.
