Shoo Fly Pie

Ingredients

  • Crumb:
  • 3 c flour
  • 1 1/2 c sugar
  • 1/2 c shortening
  • Filling:
  • 1 c Molasses
  • 1 c Hot water
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Preparation

Step 1

1. Prepare crumb and filling in seperate bowls
2. Pour a little of filling then add some crumb, alternating until prepared pie crust is full.
3. Place pie plate on baking sheet, in case of over flow
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
