Seasoned Baked Tofu

Ingredients

  • 1 lb extra firm tofu
  • 1/4 c stir fry sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 Tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds crushed

Preparation

Step 1

Press and drain tofu for 30 minutes. Cut into 1/2 inch thick slices. Coat slices with mixture of rest of ingredients. Let tofu stand at least 10 minutes. Placed on lightly greased non-stick baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes, turning every 10 minutes. Tofu is done when sauce is absorbed and surfaces appear dry.

Italian salad dressing can also be used as tofu marinade.
