Swiss Chard Pie
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 bunch Swiss chard, chopped
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 pie crusts or one deep dish crust
1.Heat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Brown onion and garlic in oil. Add chard to pan and cook until just wilted.
3. Beat eggs in a bowl. Mix in cheese, salt and chard mixture.
4. Pour into pie shell(s) and back 30 – 40 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
