Strawberry & Rhubarb Crumble

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 c. sliced rhubarb
  • 1/4 c. sugar, divided
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbs. unsalted butter, cut in small pieces
  • 2 Tbs. nuts, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Place strawberries, rhubarb & 1 Tbs. sugar in 1 qt. baking dish. Stir & set aside for 10 min.

Combine remaining 3 Tb. sugar, flour, salt & cinnamon in bowl. cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.

Spoon flour topping over fruit. Sprinkle with nuts.

Bake @ 350 degrees for 30 min. or until crumb topping is golden brown & filling is bubbling slightly.
