German Upside Down Cake
Cake recipe given to me by Sherri Jones. Always goes fast!
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 box confectioner's sugar
- 1 stick butter, at room temp
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, room temp
Mix coconut and pecans. Spread in bottom of buttered 9 x 13 pan. Make cake mix according to directions. Pour over coconuts and pecans. Melt stick of butter and cream cheese in small saucepan. Pour box of confectioner sugar into mix. Mix well and spoon over cake. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until set.
