Dark Hot Chocolate for Diabetics

Dark chocolate makes this hot chocolate extra special!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder (like Hershey's)
  • 1 Tablespoon + 2 teaspoons Splenda (I use Whey Low Sugar for Diabetics)
  • 2 Tablespoons hot water
  • 1 cup 1% milk

Preparation

Step 1

1.Place the cocoa powder and Splenda into a microwaveable mug.

2.Add the hot water and stir until smooth. Pour in the milk and stir again.

3.Microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes or until hot. (Do not boil)
