- 1 c. pecans (chopped/pieces)
- 8 oz. cool whip
- 1/2 c. cooking oil
Preparation
Step 1
First layer: In large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, kahlua, eggs, and, cooking oil. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
Second layer: Begin approximately 10 minutes before taking first laxer out of the oven. Combine butter and brown sugar in a pan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly (burns easily). Add pecans and continue cooking for 2 minutes. Pour onto cake immediately after removing from oven. Let this cool for 1/2 hour.
Third layer: Combine pudding, condensed milk, and 1/2 cup milk, and beat until light and fluffy. Add cream cheese, blending until creamy. Spread onto cake. Top with cool whip. Must be refrigerated. Keeps approximately 10 days.
