Ingredients
- Stuffing:
- 2 boxes corn bread mix
- 8 oz. corn drained
- 8 oz. cream corn
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 1 stick butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. margarine
- 2 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. chopped celery
- 12-13 c. dry bread cubes over tossed it dry out (about 5 cloves by cheap bread diced
- 1 tsp. poultry season
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. sage
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. diced thyme
- 1/2 tsp. margarine
- 4 1/2 c. chicken broth (bullion cubes)
Preparation
Step 1
Combine bread ingredients in square pan. Stir with spoon. Bake 350 degrees 45 minutes. If glass pan decrease temperature to 325 degrees. For stuffing: melt butter in skillet. Sauté onion and celery until tender pan that mixture over bread crumbs in a huge bowl. Add all seasoning and toss together and pour in enough broth to moister. Add beaten eggs and mix well. Then keep adding bread; pack light into Turkey. Put left over in a covered casserole and bake along with Turkey all day.
