Ingredients
- Icing:
- 1 pkg Devils Food cake Mix
- 1 can cherry fruit pie filling
- 1 tsp almond extract.
- 2 eggs.
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup crisco (butter favoured shortening)
- 2/3 cup boiled milk
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 2-3 squares unsweetened melted chocolate (add to first 3 ingredients)
Preparation
Step 1
Cake
In large bowl combine ingredients and mix by hand with wooden spoon until well mixed. Pour into 9X13" pan. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350F until toothpick comes out clean. Remove and let cool on cooling rack.
Icing:
Put margarine and crisco in bowl, beat, add sugar and beat again.
Add hot milk gradually. Then blen with mixer until fluffy.
