Bacon, Scallion and Caramalized Onion Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 cup caramalized onions, cooled
  • 6 slices of bacon (about 6 oz) cut into 1/4 inch pieces, cooked crisp
  • 3 scallions, green and white parts, minced
  • 1 tsp cider vinegar
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 3/4 cups sour cream or greek yogurt (or a combination of the two)
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Step 1

stir all ingredients together in a medium bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Chill for 20 mins (or up to 3 days) before serving.
