Step 1
In a large bowl combine 2/3 lb Gruyere cheese and 1/3 lb Swiss cheese with 2 tbsp cornstarch. In medium saucepan heat 1 c dry white wine over low heat until nearly boiling, alternately stir in small amounts of cheese with 1 c whole milk stirring constantly. Make sure cheese it melted before adding more cheese. Stir in 1 tbsp brandy, 1 drop Tabasco and dash of pepper. Rub fondue pot with one garlic clove, transfer cheese to fondue pot. WE TRIED THIS 1/14 AND IT ACTUALLY WAS RATHER BLA, NOT MUCH TASTE. IT ALSO GOT COLD SO MAKE SURE TO HAVE POT STAY WARM.
