Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. Bulk pork sausage
- 2 cans kidney beans, ringed and drained
- 3 cups chunky salsa
- 1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 lg onion, chopped
- 1 8 oz tomato sauce
- 1 4 oz can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 1/2 cup each green, red & yellow peppers
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp thyme
- 1/8 tsp marjoram
- Optional toppings: cheddar cheese, sour cream, thinly sliced green onions

Preparation
Step 1
Cook beef and sausage over med. heat until no longer pink. Transfer to slow cooker
Stir in beans, salsa, tomatoes, onions, tomato sauce,mushrooms, peppers and seasoning. Cook covered on low 8-10 hrs. Add toppings of your choice.
