Ingredients

  • 1 lb. mild sausage
  • 5 eggs - slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (add pepper if desired)
  • 3 slices of bread - cubed, no crust
  • 3/4 cups of grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard (may substitute regular mustard)

Preparation

Step 1

Brown sausage and drain
Mix eggs, milk, cheese, mustard and salt
Pour into an 8" or 9" square casserole dish, sprayed with Pam
Refrigerate 12 hours or overnight
Bake uncovered, for 45 minutes at 350

Casserole is done when knife inserted in middle comes out clean.
