Ingredients

  • 1 German Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 1 Tbls. water
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 pkg. Kraft Caramels
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Grease and flour 13 x 9 pan. Preheat oven to 350.
Melt caramels in evaporated milk over low heat and keep warm.
Mix cake mix, nuts, water and butter until crumbly. Pat ½ in pan and bake for 6 minutes. Sprinkle on chocolate chips, pour caramel mixture over this. Put rest of cake mixture on top and bake for 15-20 additional minutes.
