Ingredients
- 4 Eggs
- 2 C. Sugar
- 1 C. Oil
- 1 t. Coconut Flavoring
- 3 C. Flour
- 1/2 t. Baking Soda
- 1/2 t. Baking Powder
- 1/2 t. Salt
- 1 C. Buttermilk
- 1 C. Chopped Pecans
- 1 C. Shredded Coconut
- 1 C. Sugar
- 1/2 C. Water
- 2 T. Butter
- 1 t. Coconut Flavoring

Preparation
Step 1
Large mix bowl, beat eggs. Add 2 Cups sugar, oil and 1 t. flavoring blend well. Sift dry ingredients together; add to egg mixture alternately w/ buttermilk. Mix thorough. Add nuts and coconut. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf tins.
BAKE 325º for 1 hours.
Combine 1 cup sugar, water & butter in saucepan and boil for 5 minutes. add coconut flavoring and pour over hot bread and bake another 10 minutes. Let bread stand for several hours or overnight before serving.
