Ingredients
- 12 oz ground sausage
- 4 medium onion, coarsely chopped
- 3 cups celery, coarsely chopped
- 3 large Granny Smith, Peeled and cubed
- 2 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1 pan cornbread, crumbled
- 2 cups stuffing crumbs
- 3-4 cups chicken stock
- salt and pepper
- pinch of thyme
- pinch of sage
Preparation
Step 1
Saute sausage until brown
Drain slightly, add onion celery, apples and saute until tender
Pour all into bowl and reserve
Crumble cornbread coarsely into bowl with sausage and sauteed veggies.
Add stuffing crumbs and seasonings and stir together
Place all in 13x9 pan, spoon chicken stock over all. Bake at 350* for 1 hour.
