T all-purpose flour
8-oz pkg cream cheese
t Dijon mustard
c shredded sharp cheddar cheese
lb elbow macaroni, cooked (al dente)
T fresh parsley, chopped
c dried bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Melt butter in medium saucepan, then add flour and mix to make a roux. Stir until mixture begins to brown, then add milk slowly and whisk to combine. Add cream cheese to saucepan. by dividing into small chunks and adding one at a time. Add salt, pepper, and mustard and mix. Then add shredded cheese and stir until melted. Add cooked macaroni to sauce and stir to incorporate. Pour into 2-qt baking dish. Prepare topping: combine ingredients in separate bowl, scatter over top of macaroni. Bake 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees, or until top is golden and macaroni is cooked through.
