Pablo's Green Chili

Ingredients

  • 1-5 # pork butt (2 1/2-3#)
  • 2-2 1/2 size green chili (7 cups)
  • 2 cans cream of celery soup
  • 2-15 oz cans Hunts tomato sauce/garlic or mexican etc.
  • 2-15 oz cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 Tbs from a can of jalapeno (1/2 can max)
  • 3 large onions, diced
  • 8 cloves garlic, diced
  • 2 packages pork gravy mix
  • salt and pepper to taste (1Tbs salt/2 Tsp pepper)
  • 1 1/2 cups water, as needed

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onions and garlic; add celery soup and blend. Add tomato sauces, green chilis, jalapeno, pork gravy mix; blend.

Take fat off pork and dice; brown meat and put in stew.

Simmer for several hours.
