Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray or grease a casserole dish or 9x13 inch pan.

Cook macaroni as directed in salted water until tender.

Combine 2 1/2 cups of cheese with dry ingredients.

Mix hot macaroni with dry ingredient mixture and pour into the greased pan. Pour milk over macaroni & top with remaining cheese. Dot with butter.

Bake for 45 minutes until firm & golden brown.

Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.

**If you want a softer noodle - cover with tin foil for the first 30 minutes of baking.
