Ingredients

  • Cake:
  • 1 white cake mix
  • 1 can lemon pie filling
  • Frosting:
  • 1 can ready to spread lemon frosting
  • 1 8 oz. tub of cool whip

Preparation

Step 1

Cake:
Make cake as directed on box and pour into a 9 x 13 inch prepared pan. Place spoonfuls of lemon pie filling in blobs over batter. Bake as directed on box. Let cool completely. Cake batter covers blobs so there will be pockets of lemony filling inside.

Frosting:
Mix frosting and cool whip together and spread on cake.

Does not need to be refrigerated.
