Beef Brisket-Mary Kay

  • 2 Lb. beef brisket
  • Marinade overnight in 10 oz. of Worchestershire sauce, garlic, seasoning salt and peper to taste. Optional 1/2 oz. liquid smoke.



Step 1

Drain juice and don't reuse. Place meat in oven @ 350 for 1 hour.

Drop oven temp to 300 until tender or crock pot all day on low.

When meat is done, drain and measure juice and add water to make 2 Cups.

Make sauce by adding:
1 C ketsup
1/3 c worchestershire sauce
3/4 c brown sugar
1 T lemon juice
to meat juice and cook 5".

If possible cook a day before and when slightly cooked slice meat and pour sauce over all. Great w/ baked potatoes and tossed green salad.
