Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground chuck
  • 3 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 (8 oz) pack mushroom sliced
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can beef consommé
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 (1.61 oz) brown gravy mix

Preparation

Step 1

In large bowl, combine ground chuck, worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt and pepper. Shape into 5 patties.

Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add beef patties and 4-5 minutes on each side or until brown. Remove patties and set aside. Drain skillet, reserving 1 tbsp of drippings.

in same pan heat drippings and add mushroom and onions stirring frequently for 5-6 minutes or until tender. Return patties to pan.

In small bowl, combine beef consommé, broth and brown gravy mix. Add to skillet. Bring to boil over med-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until patties are cooked and sauce thicken.
