Directions

In medium skillet, crumble and brown sausage. Cook sausage completely and drain grease. Add softened, room temperature cream cheese and drained can tomatoes with green chiles. Mix thoroughly with large spoon. Microwave few seconds just until warm (not hot or it will be too runny).

Transfer to serving dish and place on platter. Surround serving dish with tortilla chips. Dip is best served warm (not hot). It can also be made ahead of time and refrigerated. Be sure to warm before serving.

*Add a little hot sauce or crushed hot red peppers to mild sausage to get the spicy hot you want.
