Ingredients
- chicken or vegetable stock
- 1 medium onion
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 1 zucchini, sliced
- kale or swiss chard
- basil
- 1 can cannellini beans
- small pasta shapes, i.e. rotini or small shells
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- shaved Parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Pour broth into slow cooker. Add vegetables except for kale/chard and basil. Add pasta and beans. Slow cook for 7 hours. Then add kale or chard. Cook for another hour. Add basil in the last 10 minutes.
Once finished, drizzle with a dollop of olive oil before serving.
