  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Dash ground cinnamon
  • Dash ground nutmeg

Step 1

•In a small bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, sugar and salt. Pour into four
ungreased 8-oz. custard cups; sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.

•Place in a 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan; pour hot water in pan to a
depth of 3/4 in. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 50-55 minutes or until a
knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
Remove cups to a wire rack to cool.
Serve warm or chilled.
Store in the refrigerator. Yield: 4 servings.

For extra richness & a little more flavor, you can add another egg, and a teaspoon of vanilla.
