  • 1 Bag of popped microwave popcorn
  • 1/2 C Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Stick of Margarine
  • 1/8 C Light Corn Syrup
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 Tbsp Cream of Tarter

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, corn syrup and cream of tarter. Bring mixture to a full rolling boil for 5 minutes stirring constantly. Remove mixture and add baking soda. Stir until well blended.

Spray a large mixing bowl with a non stick spray. Place popped corn in the bowl and pour mixture over the corn. Stir gently until all the popped corn is covered with the mixture. Place the mixture on a 9x13 baking sheet.

Bake mixture at 225 degrees for 1 hr stirring every 15 minutes to prevent sticking and burning. Remove the mixture from the oven. Stir the mixture and let cool.

Store the mixture in a tightly sealed container.
