Saucy Penne & Three Cheese Bake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 (1 lb.) package penne, cooked as package directs
  • 1/2 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 (26-oz.) jar Classico Spicy Tomato & Pesto Pasta Sauce
  • 1 (15-oz.) container ricotta cheese
  • 8 oz. mozzarella cheese, shredded and divided (2 cups)
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat over to 350 degrees.

In saucepan, over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned; pour off fat. Add pasta sauce. In mediyum bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese and egg. In lightly greased 1-1/2 quart baking dish, lawyer penne, sauce mixture and cheese mixture. Repeat layers. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese over top.

Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
