Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 C Cherries drained
  • 1 1/3 C Cherry juice
  • 1 1/4 C sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 C cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp Almond extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. Red Food Coloring (if desired)

Step 1

Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch with the cherry juice. Cook over low heat until thick. Remove from heat, add extract, lemon juice. Mix in cherries.

450 degrees for 10 min
350 degrees for 25 min
