- 2 loaves (Bridgeford) frozen bread dough
- 1 1/2 pounds mild Italian sausage
- 2 pkgs. chopped spinach
- 2-3 small chopped onions
- handful of oregano
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Place dough on individual oiled baking sheets. Let rise 2-3 hours. Remove sausage from casing, crumble and fry with onions about 1 minute, cover and simmer approximately 20 minutes. Cook spinach and squeeze out as much liquid as possible. Mix spinach, sausage, onion,, oregano, and cheese. Spread dough out. Spoon mixture down center, overlap dough, pinch together. If it won't stay together moisten with water to seal. Turn loaf over, seam side down. Bake in 350* oven for 20-25 minutes or until brown.
