Hamburger Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c minced onion
  • 1 small clove minced garlic
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1 l lean ground beef
  • 2 T flour
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 2 4 oz cans drained sliced mushrooms
  • 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 T minced parsley (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onion and garlic in butter over medium heat. Add meat and brown. Add flour, salt, pepper and mushrooms. Cook 5 min. Add soup, simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Then stir in sour cream. Heat through (do not boil). Sprinkle with parsley. Serve over small ring noodles or small macaroni.
