Ingredients

  • 1/2 cu. diced green pepper
  • 1/2 cu. margarine
  • 1/2 cu. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cu. milk
  • 1 3/4 cu. chicken broth
  • 1 small can green peas
  • 2 cu. chopped cooked chicken
  • 4 ox. jar diced pimentos

Preparation

Step 1

In large skillet melt margarine. Add green pepper and sauté for 5 minutes. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in milk & chicken broth. Heat to boiling on low - medium heat until thick, stirring constantly. boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in chicken, drained peas and pimentos and heat thoroughly.
