Ingredients
- 1 Ham Bone or 2 Ham Hocks
- 1 16oz Split Peas
- 2 Carrots (finely chopped)
- 1 Medium Onion - chopped
- 1/4 tsp Whole Allspice
- 1 1/4 tsp peppercorns
- 2 or 3 Bay Leaves

Preparation
Step 1
Heat ham bone, peas, carrots, onions, & 7 cups water to a boil.
Add spices.
Reduce heat to a simmer & cover for 1 hour.
Stir so it doesn't stick.
